The new jacuzzi

My dad and neighbour bought a jacuzzi for at our summer house in Sweden together. So now you can say that we have a mini spa haha! A sauna and a jacuzzi :) It's a shame that I'm only there 3 months a year, otherwise I would sit in it every night! The jacuzzi has 7 seats, and they all give different massages. The color off the water can also be different colors at night, because of the color lamps in the pool.
I love it.

Skin & bones

She's doing her best to keep busy after her breakup with Samantha Ronson, Lindsay has been spotted doing just about everything....except eating.

She looks like skin and bones at this point. I miss the old, hot Lindsay Lohan who had curves!

Halloween decoration

I heard this weird news on the radio a few days ago :

A man named Mostafa Mahmoud Zayed killed himself on his balcony, with a gunshot trough one of his eyes. He layed there for almost a week, and none of the neighbours called the police because they thought the body was a halloween decoration!:O

Shopping & a night with Sanne

Yesterday Sanne and I went to the city to do some shopping. I bought new grey boots from V&D, and a legging a blouse and a dress from H&M. Actually I'm really out of money, but I just can't go to the city without buying something... Sanne also bought really nice boots from Nelson. Chillin with Lisa

The day before yesterday my best friend Lisa stayed at my place and we had a really cosy night.
First we watched Fringe ( an American television series) and ate Ben&Jerry's ice cream.
After that we decided to play on the play station. Lisa tried guitar hero for the first time in her life, and she was great at it! After that we played singstar and sang almost the whole night.
So we had a really homy night!

I'M GOING TO THE FINALS!

Heeeey blogg readers! I'm so happy right know, I can't believe I'm in the final round of a modelling contest. The finale will take place on next saturday in a shopping mall called Drievriendenhof , in Dordrecht. It's going to be a fashion show and they are expecting at least 2000 viewers!!
I never thought I would make it to the last round, but I did!! :D

This fall/winter: FUR JACKETS!

Another must-have for the fall/winter is a fur coat/jacket. I go for fake fur though, you should too! I already have a black one and a blue one from Dior, but I saw this caramel fur jacket on fashiontoast.com and I really want one in that color. And I wanted to buy a caramel fur jacket that I saw in a shop called VILA in Sweden, but I didn't have any money with me so I thought I could buy it in Holland. But the VILA here didn't have it!:(:(

So today I went to a hairdresser to dye my hair. Actually I wanted it to become darker, like almost black. But the hairdresser said that it was impossible to get my whole hair dark, because of my blond highlights. But anyway I like the new chocolate brown color!

Kanye West has lost his mind!

What the heck happened at MTV video music awards? I thought it was a joke when Kanye showed up on the VMA stage right in the middle of her acceptance speech for Best Female Video.

Taylor: I always dreamed about what it would be like to win one of these one day, I never thought it would happen.

As Taylor continued, Kanye interrupted, saying he thought Beyonce's "Single Ladies" video should have won tis award.

Kanye: Hey Taylor, I'm really happy for you, but Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time.

Taylor looked humiliated. The audience booed him, and gave her a standing ovation.

I didn't expect Taylor Swift to win that award either but bum-rushing the stage wasn't the appropriate time and place to express his disagreement!!

It sucks that my best friends Olivia and Magda live in different countries than me. But luckily one of them is coming to Holland in 10 days : OLIVIAA!:D
We are going to do a lot of fun stuff, such as: Partying in Breda and Amsterdam, shopping, and eat out. Can't wait till she's here!!

Today my mother and I decided to have a mother daughter day. We first went to the city to shop a little bit. I bought a really good hair straightener (though I have straight hair but sometimes my hair gets a little wavy) ,from the brand Babyliss.
I also bought the second book from the twilight series: New moon. And a black dress from H&M.
After that we went to videoland and rented Coco chanel and bought chips and pudding. We are going to watch it now so i have to go. Goodnight!

Chai latte

Right now I'm sitting in my room wrapt up in my fake fur blanket and drinking chai latte.
Chai latte is a creamy delicious drink of tea and milk with over 8 natural spices, it is healthy and has been thought to even have health benefits. I'm really addicted to it, and its getting extremly popular in the west now. But strange enough nobody in Holland has yet heard of it, and thats a shame because it is so delicious and everyone would love it here too! You can drink it in coffee and tea houses, or you can make it yourself, or you can buy one pot at Espresso house. I have the pot from espresso house. With the chai powder in the pot you only have to mix it with water and milk. But offcourse it tastes better when you drink it in a coffee house or tea house. My chai latte pot is almost empty, and I can't buy a new one until christmas because I don't know where to buy it in Holland :( . So i searched on the internet how to make it yourself, and here is the recipe:

You will need:

• 1 1/2 cups of water

• 1 1/2 inch stick of cinnamon

• 8 cardamom pods

• 8 whole cloves

• 1/4 inch fresh ginger root (sliced thin)

• 2/3 cup of milk

• 6 teaspoons sugar

• 3 teaspoons of Darjeeling Tea leaves

How to make it :

Place water, cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, and ginger in a pot and bring to a boil.

Cover and lower heat to low setting and simmer for 10 minutes.

Add milk and sugar and again bring to simmer.

Next, add the tea leaves, remove from heat and cover.

Let steep for 3 minutes and strain.

It is a bit complicated to make it yourself, at least that is what I think.
But I will trie it once my powder is finished, and you should too!

Beauty tips

Hey blogg,
thought I could post some beauty tips that I've tried out and recommend.

Tip 1: Mayonnaise, as long as it is real, does make for a great hair conditioner. The oil and eggs that can be found in real mayonnaise is rich in protein that nourishes the hair. I've tried it out, and aslong as you wash it out good it works great as a hair conditioner. So if your'e out of money but need hair conditioner, just take the mayonnaise out of the fridge and use it! ;)

Tip 2: How to get:The most kissable lips look.
Step 1: First I use some lip balm to smooth up the lips. Then let it sink in for a few minutes . But avoid to useVaseline as a lipbalm because it will make the lipstick slide off. Step 2: Pick your stick. Grab one that lets lips show trough, such as a sheer lipstick. Step 3: When your done applying color, smack your lips together to even out the color. And then TADAAA you have the most kissable lips ever ;)

Modelling: Pinup shoot

Hello there!
I havent posted something for a while now, but I didn't have anything special to write about. But today I thought I could write about my photoshoot with Mignon and Lotte that I had two weeks ago.
Mignon does a training to become an make-artist and Lotte loves photography, so they made a hobby of shooting friends and other people. 3 weeks ago they asked me if I wanted to do some modelling for them; And offcourse I wanten to!!

The fotoshoot took place at my stepfathers pool hall. I got the Idea to shoot there because I find that the hall fits to the pinup style.

It took about an hour for Mignon to do the makeup and my hair, and after that we wanted to start shooting but the battery of the camera was unloaded. So unfortunately whe had to whait 40 minutes till the battery was loaded and we could start shooting.
